Industry experience includes corporate, agency and nonprofit environments leading to a solid understanding of how strategic planning and integrated marketing communications can support business objectives and brands.

Practitioner experience managing corporate branding, marketing communications campaigns, business-to-consumer product introductions, business-to-business marketing strategy, corporate name change, and financial reporting and communications.

Eric Van Steenburg, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at Montana State University. His research interests include nonprofit marketing, political marketing, consumer behavior, and persuasive communications. He has published in the International Journal of Advertising, Industrial Marketing ManagementJournal of Brand Management, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Journal of Product & Brand ManagementJournal of Political Marketing, Journal of Promotion Management, and proceedings of the AMA Summer and AMA Winter Educators’ Conferences, Academy of Marketing Science (AMS) conference, Society for Marketing Advances (SMA) conference, and the Association of Marketing Theory and Practice (AMTP) conference. Previously, he was the executive director for a nonprofit organization and an adjunct lecturer at Southern Methodist University.
